Covid-19 Rules & Precautions:

Masks are required per USA Fencing rules: https://www.usafencing.org/news_article/show/1130356

Coronavirus masks will be treated like any other piece of attire/equipment – glasses, shoelaces, jacket zippers – if it becomes displaced, we want you to fix it, but it should generally stay in place while fencing.

To help with the logistics of this requirement, fencers are allowed to put their fencing mask on before hooking up to the reel (and salute with it on) and take it off after unhooking.

Hand sanitizer will be available at each scoring table and bout committee.

Please bring your own water so you don’t have to use the restroom tap.

Please DO NOT attend if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have recently been exposed to a known case, or are supposed to be quarantining.

This tournament is sanctioned, so USA Fencing membership is required for all events except Youth Foil and Youth Saber. You can join or renew your membership here: https://member.usafencing.org/login

*If you are new to USA Fencing, there is an option to sign up as a non-competitive member for $10, which allows you to compete in one tournament during the 20-21 season (which ends in July) without upgrading to a full competitive membership.

Youth is considered “10 and up”. All other age categories follow USA Fencing’s normal age divisions: https://www.usafencing.org/age-classification-eligibility
